The aim of the development office is to strengthen the College's educational mission - to provide the resources necessary to ensure that present and future generations of men and women will experience the Lasallian traditions of intellectual excellence and a strong sense of ethics.

Like all private colleges, Manhattan cannot rely on tuition and fees alone to cover the costs of excellence in teaching and research. To bridge the gap between tuition and the College's operating costs, our alumni and friends help by supporting a wide variety of programs, including unrestricted gifts, scholarship support, and gifts designated by the donor.
